「大日如来（だいにちにょらい）」は、密教における最高至上の仏であり、宇宙の真理・生命・光そのものを象徴する絶対的な存在です。太陽の光が全世界を万遍なく照らすように、その大いなる智慧と慈悲はあらゆる生きとせるものを包み込み、迷いや暗闇を払い去るとされています。あらゆる願望成就、安寧、そして万物との調和をもたらす根本仏として古来より尊崇されており、未（ひつじ）・申（さる）年生まれの方の生涯の守護本尊としても深く親しまれています。

本作品では、大日如来（金剛界）の聖なる生命力と絶対的な宇宙意識を宿す種字（梵字）「バン（Bāṃ）」を描いています。半世紀以上にわたり伝統書道の真髄を体得してきた書家・鎌田惺舟（Seisyu Kamata）が、古典の骨格（章法）の上に幾何学的な様式美とアシンメトリー（非対称）の美学を融合。流麗かつ重厚な筆致に、光を捉えて煌めく立体的な黄金の境界線（レリーフ状の縁取り）を施し、手漉き和紙の豊かなテクスチャーとともに幻想的な現代ファインアートへと昇華させました。

Mahavairocana Buddha (Dainichi Nyorai) is the supreme, primordial Buddha of Esoteric Buddhism, representing the absolute cosmic truth, infinite light, and the universal life force itself. Much like the sun illuminates every corner of the earth without exception, Mahavairocana’s boundless wisdom and compassion envelope all sentient beings to dispel delusion and darkness. Revered as the ultimate source from which all other Buddhas emanate, Mahavairocana brings peace, spiritual awakening, and cosmic harmony. Furthermore, this deity is worshipped as the lifetime guardian for those born in the Years of the Ram and Monkey.
