「虚空蔵菩薩（こくうぞうぼさつ）」は、その名が示す通り「広大な宇宙（虚空）のように無限の智慧と福徳を蓄えている」とされる尊い菩薩です。古来より記憶力増進、学力向上、技芸上達、そして金運・福徳を授ける仏として深く信仰されてきました。また、丑（うし）・寅（とら）年生まれの方の守護本尊としても親しまれています。

本作品では、虚空蔵菩薩を象徴する聖なる種字（梵字）「タラク（Trāḥ）」を描いています。半世紀以上にわたり古典書道の深淵を探求してきた書家・鎌田惺舟（Seisyu Kamata）が、幾何学的な均整とアシンメトリー（不均整）の美学を融合させ、立体的な黄金の境界線と鮮やかな色彩で現代のファインアートへと昇華させました。

Akasagarbha Bodhisattva, as the name implies, is a revered deity said to possess infinite wisdom and fortune as vast as the boundless cosmos (Akasa). Since ancient times, this Bodhisattva has been worshipped for enhancing memory, academic excellence, artistic mastery, and bringing spiritual and material abundance. Akasagarbha is also known as the guardian deity for those born in the Years of the Ox and Tiger.

This artwork portrays the sacred Siddham seed syllable "Trāḥ," representing Akasagarbha. Calligrapher Seisyu Kamata, with over half a century of devotion to classical mastership, fuses sacred geometry and asymmetrical aesthetics with vibrant colors and radiant golden relief lines.
